The Medical Center in Macon is a great facility for new grads. You will have 13 weeks with a preceptor on your floor and several weeks of classroom orientation. Wages may not be quite as high as Coliseum or Northside. However, as you can see in many posts, they are having high turnover rates due to nurse/pt ratios and quite often, no techs on your shift. They do take new grads in the Units, mother/baby,Cancer Life, ortho....basically everywhere. Just figure out what you think you'd like to try.

Hi,
I am interested in knowing about good hospitals in the Montezuma or Macon area, especially those that offer interns to new grads in specialty areas. Any other advice about the area would be appreciated~
Thanks
