Montefiore School of Nursing Spring 2020

Hello all!

I know it's early to make this thread but I wanted to see who else is planning to apply to this program.

The first open house is in February. Anybody else going?

Thank you guys for all your encouragement. We will continue to pray and trust God we get good news next week.

For the rest of us, hang in there! Based on my detective work, it appears as though at least three individuals from this group with scores ranging between 78/79 have been selected.
So don’t lose hope my fellow remainders! ??

I got a 79 and received an acceptance. All pre-reqs completed with good grades and GPA.

Last time I spoke with someone at the school, they said they pick the top 40 Kaplan scores. Apparently if multiple people have the same grade, then that’s when they factor in your GPA, pre reqs etc.

Interesting selection process to say the least. I am deferring my seat, so I pray one of you guys who are still waiting will get an acceptance soon!!

I have all my pre reqs finished and my gpa is 3.7

Yeah me too I have all my pre reqs and I calculated my Kaplan in with my class gpa and I have a 3.23.. I’m calling today on my lunch

Im not stressing it no more because you keep looking on here and people saying different things its going to make you nuts so im just wait for the mail

They definitely look at the overall picture because my friend got accepted and she got a 73 on the Kaplan but she has a 4.0 gpa and has emt experience.

Thats what im saying i got the same grade i have all my pre reqs and my gpa is 3.7 and i been an medical assistant for like 10 years

Today is a new day everyone. Keep your head up high and be positive about today. Its all in gods hands. Like my husband said “DO NOT BE A QUITER” ??????that is exactly what I am doing. Plus waiting patiently. There is nothing we cannot do BUT wait. I scored a 78 with a 3.5 gpa. BE POSITIVE and do not think the worst.
