Montefiore School of Nursing Spring 2020

Hello all!

I know it's early to make this thread but I wanted to see who else is planning to apply to this program.

The first open house is in February. Anybody else going?

So i just called and asked if they sent them out yet she said we sending them this week

Just my two cents (again) and you guys take it with a grain of salt but they do get annoyed when students keep calling them every day, multiple times a day asking the same questions about this and that's when you hear of students saying they're catching an attitude with people but I'm sure you guys can understand that. If the school told you guys you'll be hearing news this week, I'm sure then it'll be this week so again, sit tight. ?

They said they are sending them out this week so some people will know next week depending where the live

There are hundreds (like 200-300) applications they have to send out. It will likely take several days for them to do this so they probably send out however many they do each day but will complete them in time for us to all hear by Friday.

Also same state USPS mail takes 1-2 days to arrive.

Yeah that’s understandable, if they stuck to sending out emails it would be easier on them lol. Shorter wait time, less calls.

Alright peopless so hopefully before December we‘ll know but let’s all just stay in touch and keep each other’s nerves in check were all in the same boat

They said if you are accepted you will get a letter and email as well. And if you are rejected you will get a letter only. They also said they are sending the letters in waves throughout this week.

When did you speak to someone because I called Monday morning and they said they are not doing emails at all this year.
