Montefiore School of Nursing Spring 2020

Hello all!

I know it's early to make this thread but I wanted to see who else is planning to apply to this program.

The first open house is in February. Anybody else going?

I got a 76 which is not too bad I guess.

Reading:86%

Math: 79%

Science:85%

Writing: 56%

critical thinking: 88%

I bombed writing. I think I underestimated it too much and didn't really study it. Surprisingly on science which I was most scared about I did really good on. I just hope this score is good enough to get me in.

Great job! I bombed writing as well. I didn't even know how to study for that section, so I focused mainly on science which paid off lol

What kind of questions were on the math section? Do we need to memorize conversions?

You do not need to memorize conversions. Just know how to add/subtract decimals, divide/multiply/add/subtract fractions, convert decimals to percents, word problems, know how to set up proportions, know ratios... honestly it was real basic and straightforward.

There were a few dosage related questions that were time related. Don't remember exact but you're pretty much setting up proportions
