Greetings, I just finish applying to Montefiore School Nursing for the Spring 2019. Is there any one else also looking to attend in 2019? I'd love to hear from you.
Hi!
How was the admissions process? Do they automatically disqualify you for a low g.p.a or for not having all the pre-requisites? I have sciences but they maybe too old. Any tips on passing the KAT test and what was your overall g.p.a and test score? Thank you for any information you can provide me.
Hi guys,
I applied to the Jan 2019 evening program and I'm waiting for the email regarding the Kaplan exam. I finished Microbiology during the summer and am done with all my prerequisite classes. I spoke with Monte to make sure they received all my transcripts and they said they did and I'll be getting an email in September about dates for taking the Kaplan. Two of my friends took the exam last year and both got 75's. They both said the Kaplan book is useless. A few people said get the TEAS book which is what I did. Good luck to everyone!
Hi guys I am a current N2 evening student. For the Kaplan exam the Kaplan book is not helpful at all I used Quizlet for the AP portion it is the best source and also just used basic sat books for the reading and writing portion for math it was just basic math i honestly didn't review math and received 100 on that portion I scored an 85 overall and had a 3.81 gpa in the required courses I know of classmates who got in with mid 70s but you should be aiming for low 80s. Clinicals are all Montefiore hospitals except in N1 one of the long term care facilities is not Montefiore Owned. Any other questions feel free to ask. We received our acceptance via email November 2nd last year if that helps you get a feel of how long you will be waiting! GOOD LUCK!!

Hey, I have a question about the exams once you're in. Do the professor give back exams after grading? Do the professors give study guides ? I applied and is waiting for the confirmation email :)
