Montefiore School of Nursing spring 2019

Published

Greetings, I just finish applying to Montefiore School Nursing for the Spring 2019. Is there any one else also looking to attend in 2019? I'd love to hear from you.

I just called and now they told me that we'll find out via mail. I asked "no more email?" and she said "via mail". Again, she said you'll find out in November but didn't specify when.

did she sound like she was annoyed ? why are they sending them via mail now ? what in the world is going on over there?

Wow lol. I going to check my mailbox like crazy now.

I wonder why they're sending them via mail now. If that's the case I hope it was sent out already.

I think they send via email as well..i think via email first

I'm gonna just chill out because I dont wanna overthink or over stress then find out I'm not even accepted. What I'm gonna do is look into other options in the mean time just in case

I don't wanna stress but the way my brain is wired... smh. you gonna get in though watch, we all are .

From reading the other post it looks like for the most part they received their test scores/mandatory orientation notification via mail, then they got their acceptance letters via email, then they received their acceptance packages in the mail.

Hey guys,

I did the Kaplan today for Cochran and got an 85, one point better than the exam I took for Monte lol. It was the same exact exam as Monte, even all the answers were the same. Cochran is making their final decisions late next week via email. Just throwing that out there in case anyone also applied there as a second option. Monte is my first choice though so I'll wait to hear from them.

As far as Monte, they told me acceptance notices are going out mid-Nov so I wouldn't expect anything before Nov 15, so if we get anything earlier it's an added bonus. My friend is taking Nursing 2 at Monte now and she said the acceptances are sent via email. Not sure they changed it to regular mail but I haven't heard of them changing this so we'll see.

Just my two cents to keep things in perspective. Two of my friends applied last year to Monte and both got a 75 on the Kaplan but only one got in. I suspect the one that made it was because all her pre-reqs were done and the other friend was missing several classes. I've also heard of people getting in with 60s (although not often) when they didn't have as high as a demand as they typically do. By what I've read in these posts it seems like we all have a great shot at getting in so let's see what happens and keep the faith.

I agree with you. There'll be plenty of time to stress when we actually start the program ahaha
