Montefiore school of nursing jan 2017

Hello everyone I am applying to montefiore for the Jan 2017. Is there anyone in the process of applying?

Diva12, do not lose hope keep trying if a door for now closes another one will open. try cochran in Yonkers but I think you can still keep applying to the school but there is a waiting period.. But dont give up...

Hey, how is the program going for you?

I assume this is for me...if not a little more insight won't hurt haha. I'm looking back now on the late night that I sat up taking a break from working on finals for my last semester for my BA degree and found this school online and I must say the time just flew by! I got an 85 on the entrance exam and I remember waiting so anxiously for a decision and how happy I was to get in. Nursing 1 is a major learning curve but a smooth ride of you study hard;you'll lose a few classmates here but Nursing 2 is the true test and where you'll really see the class shrink in size. Nursing 3 has been interesting,we're, at this point,used to learning 25 chapters of information in two weeks at this point. I think Nursing 4 will be quite a lot like Nursing 2 but with hard work we can do it!

Yes, it was for you í ½í¸† I can't wait to start this January I know someone who is in nursing 1 and another in nursing 2 and like you said nursing 2 Is no joke... thanks for the info and good luck through the program

Try St. John riverside nursing school for fall 2017. I know I am. I was told they accept the Kaplan scores but only 65 and higher. You can re take the exam in the summer to give you enough time to study

Do they offer financial aid? or student loans?

Hi everyone! I just took the exam yesterday 11/1 got a 72% I am praying that is good enough. Just wanted to share an experience I had about 2 weeks ago. I actually went to Montefiore to drop off my money order to take the KAT exam and the woman i spoke to just happened to have my file open. When i took a glimpse at it it said my overall GPA was 3.2 however i knew it should have been higher than that. When I took a closer look i saw that they miscalculated one of my grades! It said i got a C- in English when i really got a B+ My overall was supposed to be a 3.7! The lady assured me she would have it fixed but i just thought that was so crazy imagine if i hadn't caught that.

Hi, your score is good! was 11/1 the last day of testing?

And about our grade issue, you were there at the right time but I am sure they would have fixed it once the looked at your transcript and all that but it was good you mentioned it- just in case ;) good luck

@BoriRN2b Yes it was the last day. I was told they will be emailing decisions this week. I'm so nervous :nailbiting:
