Montefiore school of nursing fall 2019

Anyone else applying to montefiore for the fall. I am so nervous but so excited because I really want to go to this school.

I take my entrance exam this Thursday at 9:00 am. I am so nervous i can throw up thinking about it. Was there any geometry on the math section? And for the reading was it mostly proper verb subject agreement? proper placement of commas? what was so hard about the writing/english?

I’m taking my exam on Saturday 4/13. And want to make sure I’ve gone through everything I can possibly go through! Also any advice on how to prepare for the writing section and what that was like? Thanks guys!!

Hi @jbeans1215 how did ur test go please update us on each section thank you. And was the math hard. Please update us on what was on the math section. Please update us on each section. My test is on 4/13.

Hi guys I didn’t do as well as I expected to. I had a bit of a panic attack in the beginning and then couldn’t concentrate due to certain noises. I ended up having to guess on a bunch of reading questions because I ran out of time. I got a 77 total score. The math was SO easy. Don’t stress that. Know your fractions and decimals and adding subtracting. There is a question on dividing a fraction remember u flip it and multiply. The science was all anatomy. Gas exchange, body fluid compartments, and everything NICKI said pretty much. The English was difficult for me also. I scored lowest in reading and English. Good luck guys.

@Jbeans1215Thanks for the info! Congrats!! 77 is not bad at all! I’ve known people that have gotten in with a lower score than that.. high 60’s even so don’t stress! For the math I’m mostly worried about the word problems for some reason they always stump me! Did u get an email from anyone on this thread sharing the study guides and tips and info before u took the test? I’m hoping someone will be able to forward that to me! I’ll update with how I end up doing after this weekend!

@SL322 no. Maybe 3 or 4 and they aren’t hard I suck at math trust me it was easy. The word problems were proportions that u set up and find x

Was the reading based on science. And was the question being asked was it hard or tricky. A
