I am having a heck of a time getting money for school. My hubby and I make "too" much money to get any grants or "free" money, but don't make enough to keep shelling it out of our own pockets. We both don't have the best credit so getting a loan via a bank or whatever is just about impossible. Any suggestions on scholarships you know of? I have been trying to research online and it is overwhelming, there are so many credentials you must have to even be eligible for most scholarships (ex: native american single mom...or something to that effect). We live in WA state too if that helps. Thank you! :)

I have been researching this too and my only options are loans.
Have you looked into the Stafford Loan? It is a gov't loan with a low interest rate that isn't based on your credit. Have you filled out the FASFA for the school? Even though you make too much to qualify for free money, you might be able to get a Stafford Loan. It's worth just filling it out and seeing what you can get.
Good luck! I know how frustrating it is. I am in the same boat.

I have been doing the same searches as well.
But you should try: www.fastweb.com
They even email when new scholarships are available
Also: www.discovernursing.com
Hope this helps!
