G'day!
Joe, hope the week goes well for you.
Unfortunately didn't sleep the best again, woke up at 4AM and couldn't go back to sleep. So I got up and by 9:30 was taking a nap, a pattern I wanted to break. Whatever.
Ado, I imagine the smoothie might need some mixing in the morning but you should try that rather than processed sugary no nutrition cereal. IMO
Had a quiet Sunday.
Hope everyone has a great day!
Double header games today: 12:30 and 6:40....
For some reason my left lateral hip is aching something fierce, so I am going to CVS to get some of their capsaicin heating patches which are quite stout, ie they don't roll up on the edges and they kind of support the area.
But first, time to get Nannie up!
My friend from Florida called and said she was not sure they'd be able to get my dog to her new home this week ?. One of the nieces has only Saturday off and can't drive up here this weekend; not sure if the other niece would be willing to take the trip on her own, and my friend told her husband I said I was on my knees begging someone to bring the dog up to me.
Hubby wanted to know what difference it makes that they can't bring the dog when my friend was hoping they could. I shrugged and said I guess it doesn't. But, inside I'm saying I want her here ASAP!
No Stars, hope you do get the dog sooner, rather than later. So nice to look forward to that! Hope the capsaicin helps your hip.
Joe, sounds like a productive Sunday! Hope work was OK today.
Tweety, I know what ya mean, re: napping during the day. I don't like to get in that "habit," yet I am possibly a little easier to get along with, if I am more caught up with my sleep. Hope bowling goes well for you and your team!
We were up at 5, and to the facility at 0630 to check dh in. He was prepped and went off to surgery around 0845. By 1000 I was pulling the car around to the front of the procedure area, and we were home by 1030! He did well, his concerns were addressed (no IV in the wrist, and he wanted to let them know he gets chatty when he is given Versed), and the surgery (bilat cataract removal w/standard lens implant) went well.
I got us some lunch, and after we ate, we took a little nap. I woke up to ds calling, requesting I go with him so he could get a new phone (I am primary acct person, on the family acct). I went with him, and dh called while I was there: he was trying to open the eyedrops so he could get his first dose, he woke up to pain from the sutures, and where is the Tylenol?? I got home as quickly as I could (had to finish up ds's transactions), and by the time I got home, he had wrangled the plastic covers off the eye drops and given himself the drops, and then had located X-S Tylenol and taken it, and was feeling much better. We talked about his schedule for the eyedrops and Tylenol. He can read his phone if it is close to his face. Computer is a different story, he may be off the computer for a day or two, till he is doing better.
I don't recall mine being as painful as his has been, nor as disruptive. But then, I only had one at a time done. Hopefully the 1000 meds will help him sleep for awhile, until the 0400 doses are due.
Have a good evening!

Was a fairly productive day yesterday. Got most of the packing done in the morning. Went to church and coffee hour, then did some errands and got the cooking done. Had time to ride my bike too. Began watching the latest season of Call the Midwife
Want to get as much vacation prep done as possible prior to Thursday, so I can do some bird watching before I leave
Hoping work won't be too bad today, but we'll see
Going to rain all day, and will be cooler, in the upper 60s
