Good morning!
Joe, sorry to hear about your friend.
Stars, hope those hips feel better.
Slept in this morning. Woke up at 4AM and fed Waffles and went back to bed. Her feed time is 6AM but I didn't feel like getting up again.
Ado, hope the sleep apnea machine doesn't cause any issues. Not everyone can adjust but I have a coworker that really likes his saying he gets the best sleep. I think Ted, our old poster here liked his a lot as well.
The movers are picking up a dining room set he bought at a consignment store and then coming by here for his stuff on Thursday. It's not a lot here but enough to make it hard to us to move in several trips in a Toyota and tote up three flights. The bulk of his stuff is in a storage facility. Another company will deliver all that stuff to the condo and unpack it and put it away and take away the boxes. Once his insurance benefit ran out FEMA was able to pay the storage fees and he's hoping they will help with the delivery fees as well. Then he's home for good on Friday.
Waffles will miss the attention since he's retired and she likes attention. I enjoyed having him around to talk to and watch TV and movies with. We're like minded politically so that helps, and we get along well. There might have been a couple of times we bugged each other but we're both so easy going low key we didn't have an or ill words once.
Yesterday was relatively uneventful. Went to hot yoga class, had lunch, watched TV and read some. Nothing much. Today a normal Monday. Will go to the gym and bowling is tonight.
Hips are better. Now my stomach feels like it is trying to chew up rocks. (!) Better hit the kefir bottle ASAP!
Waiting for a phone call (in 1/2 hr) to discuss some financial options. In one way I hope it is 'the' answer, but in another way I am dubious. Hate doing this kind of thing online or on the phone. Hate dealing with financial stuff anyway, regardless of where or when or how.
The weather says it will be 71 degrees, but feel like 78, and though there are low, very dark clouds. the forecast says 0% chance of rain....even with the high humidity.
My older brother is back in the hospital, this time it is "something with his pancreas". This is 3rd hand info and no one has any clue yet. He is 80 or 81. Now I can't recall what he was in the hospital for most recently. Since nobody knows anything, I guess it is a 'wait and see' situation. It is weird to think I have a brother in his 80's, but it is also weird to think that I am 76.
Did I tell you that Tinker is in heat? She's pretty good about keeping herself cleaned up, but still leaves little blood blops where she sits on bed, etc. Come to think of it, maybe I should go up and get my sheets and comforter to put in them in the wash.......but kind of doubt I will. "Shoulds" are sometimes (! .....more like OFTEN) ignored, or shall we say it nicely and say they are 'postponed'!
I have to go to the store to get MORE: Dog food and treats, more cranapple juice, more paper towels, butter, yogurt, and a new pill crusher. The one I've been using is giving my hands a fit; I washed it thoroughly, dried it well, and now there is a drag....I don't know how else to describe it, but it is hard to turn and the pills are harder to crush, and it makes my hands unhappy.
Time for my phone call.
Later, y'all
Joe, hope your friend gets better quickly.
Tweety, have a fun night of bowling!
Stars, hope all is well with your brother.
I'm still trying to catch up at work. I did take some Nyquil last night for what I really think were cold symptoms. I had a lot of "events" on my sleep tracker for the CPAP. Feeling OK today with only a mildly scratchy throat.

Tweety hiring a mover was smart, I've tried moving without one and it's a pain
Stars I hope you're feeling better today
Ado glad she's doing better. Hopefully it's not cold or allergies
Before church I did the cooking for the week and the dishes, so I would have the afternoon free to visit my friend K. Church was fairly ordinary, was the assisting minister
However, K texted me to say he was admitted to the hospital with a likely infection, so didn't even up visiting after all
Ended up being a quiet Sunday, took it easy, went for a fairly long hike in the afternoon
Today should be pretty ordinary, usual work and laundry. Shouldn't be anything unusual at work
Will be in the mid 80s again with rain later in the day. Will finally be cooler tomorrow
