Good morning!
Joe, hope the TEE shows good results and a discharge plan is forth coming.
Went back to sleep for a couple of hours after feeding the dogs breakfast at 6AM. Feeling rested. Their appointment to the vet is coming up and nothing much else going on today. Bowling tonight.
G wanted more channels, especially MSNBC since he's a fan of the show "Morning Joe" so I added another package to the cable tv that also includes the local channels. There are a bunch of channels I never heard of but he's helping pay expenses and wants it.
Have a great day.
Went to sleep at 2 AM, woke up at 6:45 because Momo was climbing all over me. I went down to give her breakfast and saw Nannie sitting in her chair, feet down, covered in a variety of lap blankets, SOUND ASLEEP! I put Momo's food down for her and went back up to the kitchen and made a cup of coffee. Sipped some hot coffee and curled back up under the covers with Momo when she came back up after eating. Woke up again at 10:30, because I thought I heard my cell phone ringing, but it must have been in a dream that I heard it, because there were no calls. I decided to just stay in bed, but didn't go back to sleep. Took my meds with cold coffee, and here I am with covers pulled up to my shoulders, with the laptop on my lap. I think the temp today will be somewhere in the mid-to-upper 60's.
Had some more long, interesting dreams, which are fading from my memory as I type, but I know they took place in my usual dream location of college campus dorm and nearby hospital and the combo of cities that have stitched themselves together in my dreams quite regularly. And there were some house-cats in my dream. I do miss having cats, but between Nannie hating cats and Momo probably being jealous of them, I know I will not be having any cats real soon.
Tempted to close my eyes again, but the coffee and my bladder are having a conversation which urges me to at least get up and pee. At some point today I will have to go to the store and replenish cran juice, milk, ice-tea, and more yogurts for Nannie. I really don't want to take Nannie along but may end up having to. But, we'll see.
I have more dishes to do, though I did do most of the dishes from last night's supper before I came up to bed, but not all of the empty containers from SiL's homemade soup. Have even more clean, dried, and folded clothes piled on the rest of the clean, dry, folded clothes piled on the rocking chair. One of these DAZE I will put them away, but not sure which day that might be. Knowing that I will have to go down to get Nannie washed up and dressed soon is also fluttering around in my brain. UGH! Things to do, places to go, but at least no people to see, anyway. I expect SiL will call at some point today and tell me what day she will take Nannie for the afternoon. SiL's appt for her lower back isn't until Nov 21st. Still am longing for a Nannie-free week here at the house, but I doubt I can get that any time soon, which is discouraging, but, as usual it is another "OH WELL" thought.
One good thing is that my hair is finally used to its new cut and is looking mahvelous, dahling. Whoop-dee-do!
Suppose I ought to get dressed and go down to see where Nannie is; sometimes she goes back to bed and lays down on top of the covers and gets them wet. I am still fighting the urge to sleep some more. Must be exhaustion from the constant sub-level depression I keep trying to deny having.
Okay, I don't want to devolve into more crabbing and complaining, so I will just stop here, for now.
It's wet and windy here. The neighbor's spruce trees are dropping many large cones on our roof. The dogs seem nervous about all the thumps overhead. I tried 2 different plumbers, the earliest they can come is Wednesday. Bah. I remembered I had two 10 gallon jugs of emergency water, so I used some of that for an emergency toilet flush, some to make coffee, and some for a sponge bath.
I went to my hair appointment and got my hair washed and trimmed. I am leaving it long so I can pull it back and keep it out of and off of my face.
I stopped and joined a gym. I'll go down there later and shower. Now dh is going to pick up meds and I'm not sure what else. Tomorrow I'll have ds help me jump my car and get to the parts store for a new battery.
Joe, good to see you have someone to air feelings about dating. Cuban food sounds good. What kind of art do you like?
I watch maybe 3 channels on TV, although I think we get a bazillion. dh watches lots of different ones, especially sports and old western TV shows and movies. I watch stuff on my laptop. dd has an apple account that I can watch on my mac.

Dianah that must have been nice, an extra hour of sleep unexpected
Stars I wouldn't worry about it either
NJ22 hope that water heater gets fixed soon
Ado glad there was no damage near you
Tweety glad you have some time off after an exhausting day
Decided not to go to the Arboretum yesterday, weather was too dreary and I didn't want to be rushed. Went to church early to drop off the baked spaghetti, then served as assisting minister. Didn't stay for the potluck as I had to leave for the city and wasn't sure how long it would take
Traffic was pretty good, had a good time with B at a local Cuban restaurant and at the contemporary art museum, although much of the art was not to my taste. We stopped for coffee afterwards and talked a good bit. Was nice to have someone in a similar situation to talk to, like about the difficulties of dating the gay community
Came home to a large hairball and rather large amount of vomit. Cleanup took a bit longer than expected as the carpet cleaner was being a bit difficult, but much easier than having to do it by hand. Rest of the night was pretty quiet. Didn't hear from my dad except a brief text, we'll talk tonight and see how the TEE went
Today nothing unusual going on, will do laundry but apart from that not much else
Will be in the 60s again, going to rain for much of today and much of tomorrow too
