I joined an online book club recently and started with the May selection which won't get here until Saturday so I'll be skipping June and join up later.

Ado, I think that's YA or "young adult" genre now days.

Today is just a routine day to get some chores done. Have a great day.

Y'hallow Mundaie, which this week is NOT a day for Nannie to go to daycare. SiL called me last evening to ask if it would be okay if she didn't take Nannie to daycare today, but she will take her there tomorrow and Wednesday. Meh. It is as long as it is wide, I said okay, because I really don't feel like taking Nannie to daycare.... it's toooo early for me! So, once again my 'plans' have fallen through. Yup. Ppfftt. I have to get Nannie up out of bed shortly, which we all know I am anticipating with great joy. Sure, uh-huh, you betcha. Just another day. w00t.

I have a weird rash that started two days ago; not sure what it is from exactly, or why I have it. I have racked my brain for things I have done differently lately. It may be a reaction to switching to "free and clear TIDE", or the side effects of a supplement I started taking for my mitochondria, or something I ate that I don't usually eat. I dunno. It is very itchy and somewhat raised. It is from my left fore-arm and left neck from behind the ear and on down. I am being a good girl and trying not to scratch. I have liberally applied Benadryl cream which helps a little bit, and this morning since it is still with me, I took a 25 mg Benadryl tablet. Was afraid to take 2 tablets because I can't be sleepy today, but if no help from the 1 tab, I will take a 2nd one after a while. This is weird, because I seldom to never have any allergic reactions to anything. If it doesn't go away soon, I will have to make an appt w/ the doc. RATZ!

I dreamed last night that Nannie had come all the way up to my bedroom door on the 3rd level of the house, meaning she had climbed all those stairs. In the dream I asked her what she was doing 'uphere,' She said she didn't know, which would be her typical answer. I told her to go back down and get her in bed. Then there was some other strange, brief dream which I NOW cannot recall, but wish I could, Oh well, 'tis what 'tis. I am hoping I do remember because it somehow seemed important at the time.

Can't put it off any longer; have to do "the routine". *sigh*

Stars, you've had the shingles vaccines, right? Just checking! I hope whatever it is clears up without more discomfort.

We are anticipating "severe" weather. Again.

Yeah I was 'shingle shot' last year; plus have had every shot for everything that is available to get! I really think this is some kind of reaction, like an allergy. My first thought was measles, but then I thought 'nah' because I haven't been around anyone to be exposed to measles, and I already had both kinds of measles in my youth, Sooooo, maybe it's hives?..... I used to get hives when I was around 16 years old, and for several years.....from Ascorbic Acid, AND really cold temps outside, believe it or not! I couldn't eat fruit or fruit drinks or fruit desserts/candies, and even had to be careful with a few high Vit C veggies (don't ask, 'cause I dunno which ones anymore), for an entire year. The first time the hives rose up, it was like I had hives knee-socks on both legs and feet! Then later it always made my lips swell and half of my tongue, too! That was the first day I met my former brother-in-law, who laughed so hard he cried. Harumph! It was hard to talk! But that was, like, 60 years ago. I've been trying to remember what I ate three or four days ago, but that's a dubious proposition. But it is different from the hives I used to get. Whatever it is, it sure gets itchy! The benadryl I took (twice) today didn't seem to make any difference. Now, in addition to the large area on my left medial forearm (spell-check wanted me to write "medical" instead of medial,< and the smaht-a$$ just did it again, but I corrected it.) I have no fever, and none of the itchy spots have heads or weep. I may call the doc's office EARLY, and see if I can get slipped in to be seen and maybe get one of them-there Prednisone (or whatever it is) tapers? We'll see how things are doing tomorrow morning. *sigh*

At least tomorrow and Wednesday Nannie will be going to daycare. YAY! Well, and Friday too, but I still have to get up early Friday to get her dressed so BiL can take her over there, and then I have to pick her up at 5 PM on Friday. Not sure about picking her up the other two days, but SiL will let me know.

I hope I can locate my bank Master-Card somewhere up in my room tomorrow, too. YIKES! I don't THINK I left it anywhere when I used it. I'll have to call the "I Lost My Credit Card" phone number, If I can't track it down, and they will cancel it and send me a new one. What a P.I.A. !

Oh, the other dream I had this morning was seeing the mail delivery van stop at the front steps and the guy put a package down on my porch in front of the front door. That's all. Didn't see who it was from and never went out to get it or open it in the dream. Big deal, huh?
