Tweety I don't think I've heard of that play

Dianah it was a good production, but I think maybe a little too intense for my taste, it seemed everything was loud and up tempo

Ado that is an unusual coincidence

Had church and then met J for lunch and Evita afterwards.  Was fairly tired after the long day Saturday.  Didn't do much else the rest of the day except go for a walk.

Going to get up to 60 today,  will be in the 50s and 60s the rest of the week I think

Good morning!

Joe, hope you had a good day.  I've never seen Evita or the movie.  I do remember in the late 70's a disco version of "Don't Cry For Me Argentina" that was popular back then when I used go out drinking and dancing. I was so un-cultured I didn't know it was from Evita.  LOL

Ado, it must be uncomfortable having to listen to such rants.  At least she likes your husband.  ?

I had a decent day yesterday.  Went over to best friends.  It was too cold to go outside so we watched the movie "Drive My Car".  It's in Japanese and is nominated for a Best Picture Oscar.  Definitely worthy of the nomination as it's a great movie.  It was whopping 3 hours long though which surprised me.  He heated up some vegan pizza that we had while watching it.

Nothing much for today out of the ordinary.  Going to make some bean salad for lunch, go to the gym, clean bathrooms and bowling is tonight.

Wow, Joe, you had quite the busy weekend, but it sounds like you had fun.

Ha, ha, Tweety, I've never heard that version. I really like show tunes, like "Don't Cry For Me, Argentina". A couple of years ago, Patty LuPone appeared at our local theater and sang many of the tunes she performed on Broadway. Wow, what a voice! And she's funny!

Ado, I am sorry for what you have to endure with your MIL. My dad had Alzheimers, but he never got mean, except when talking about my mom, who had died 10 years earlier. But always wanted to leave.

Dianah, that sounds like a lovely get together with your friends.

We drove south yesterday to look for plants for our hanging baskets. I had dh stop a couple of times so I could stretch. But I figured out that when my legs start to hurt from sitting in the truck, if I unbuckle, and face the back  and stand on my knees, I get some relief. I just don't do it too long because I don't want to get a ticket. The weather is yucky, windy and wet. I am going to finish cleaning youngest son's room, and make up the bed. MIL told us she is moving in with SIL cuz it's closer to her church and chiropractor, so I don't feel so rushed to make room for her. But of course, she is welcome here if it doesn't work out for her there.

I also need to drop off stuff at Goodwill or Value Village. And I may go look for a bike rack for my car.
