Hi Tweety

Dianah that does sound like a busy day

Stars that does sound like a productive day

NJ22 glad you enjoyed the show

Was a quieter day yesterday.  Did not go to church,  instead did laundry and worked on cleaning out the car and getting the grocery shopping list  for  this  week done.  Ran an errand or two.  Mostly stayed inside as it was hot  and humid

Talked to dad, who is definitely glad  to be home. Talked to J too, who is better but still working on the timing of his medications.  The  new allergy one keeps him up, he found out,  so will have to take it in the morning instead of at night

Hoping work won't be too crazy when I get back this morning

In a rather reflective mood,  probably because this  was such an unusual  weekend

Will be in the upper 80s today and stormy

Good morning!

Joe, hope you have a good day.

J22, safe travels home.

Stars, there is a certain satisfaction in getting chores done.

Dianah, that cake sounds really good.  I love Key Lime Pie.

The grass won out and the yard looks good for now.  I went to the beach for the sunset and just after it rained.

Bowling is tonight and I'm looking forward to that.  My social circle over the years has really dwindled.  I had a large group of friends once.  Turns out I was the glue.  If I didn't organize a meal, movie or get together no one else would and it fizzed out.  Turns out I was the outsider, as I know some of them still get together.  I should make more of an effort to make new friends and even a boyfriend, but I've also been introverted and happy alone.  At least I have one good friend and my family.

Yeah, me too, I am introverted; I say I am an extroverted introvert, but I do SO enjoy the peace and quiet of solitude most of all. I have a few friends that I keep loosely in-touch with, but none here where I live now. I think COVID kept me from trying to do something sociable when we moved here, all group stuff  being off limits. Not that I am terribly fond of GROUPS, per se, but thought I might meet some somebody who I could tolerate hanging around with once in a while. I'm not sure if there's a niche for me, though.

No domesticity for ME today, because I had to go to the pharmacy where they only had one of the three refills I wanted. They faxed the requests to the doc ONCE AGAIN! Maybe, just maybe, there will at least be one refill tomorrow for Nannie's Lexapro. w00t? Also did a little 'grocery' shopping, which means a dozen cups of yogurt for Nannie's breakfasts, and TWO LARGE packages of Nannie's pads, and a pack of her pull-ups. (I am so tired of dumping out her used pads and having to go get more of the pads to keep her in stock and keep me from having to go out to buy more.)

It is 4:30-ish and hubby has gone out for our take-out supper. One place we thought of....turns out it is closed on Mondays. Another one closed at 2 PM and a third one closes at 3 PM. I am not sure where he decided to go as 4th choice; I think to the Fish-House (from which this former New England coast resident does NOT eat seafood). Anyway, what will be will be.

It's 90 again here, humidity the usual high percentage, and possible thunder-storm in the late afternoon or early evening.

Tweety, that was a creepy trailer for NOPE! I did see GO AWAY; it was odd and interesting and weird, but well done. One of these days maybe they will start putting theater movies on HBO and SHO again. But prolly not, as those two channels seem to be passe' now in the days of all the PLUS channels that stream on TV and CO$T more. I am not sure how I feel about going to a theater yet.// Enjoy bowling.

Supper is here; I'll probably be back later.

It was good to be home in my bed last night, with my snoring dog next to me. I had a great run at the park, so much better than running  On a treadmill. I went to sis’s appointment to see the CHF doc, finally. And he had her experience with hyperkalemia all mixed up. I wasn’t impressed. He said she never had a high potassium, even though it was high for a week. That’s okay, she’s switching to my doc in November. I’m having issues with the drugstore too. They are sending messages about it being too soon to reorder, but I didn’t reorder anything. Gad, no wonder only 50% of people take their meds as ordered.
ds mowed while I was gone, so that’s off my list. I do have the washing machine going. I’m going to give the fridge a good cleaning soon, right after I get my COVID test done.

Ummmm, the movie I thought I was referring to in my previous post was NOT "Go Away!" ? It was actually "GET OUT!" Kinda different, eh??

I was wondering about that.  That's one of the reasons I agreed to see "Nope" because "Get Out" was so critically acclaimed.
