well my fellow student nurses, monday soon approaches us. it is the day i have been waiting for. the first day of rn school. who else will start theirs on this date? all the best to each of us.

Me! Me! I start Monday as well. I'm done with all of my pre-reqs and now dive, head first, into the first of 5 clinical semesters.

I start my cores Monday -- Clinicals on Mon and Tues at the unheard of for me early time of 0655, and lecture Friday at a not-much-better time of 0800. I have ALL other classes DONE for my degree, so I can just concentrate on the cores.

One bright spot though, we had a class over summer which was taught by my clinical instructor for this semester and the class began at 0700 and she was late and hadn't had her caffeine fix so at least I hope she will be a tiny bit sympathetic at the 0655 class. I am glad I just got to meet her under these circumstances because I know she is not perfect now!

did you take pharmacology this summer, if so, how was it?

I guess I am ready for Monday! I have finished the pre-recs and will be taking the first nursing class, clinical and pharmacology. Hard to believe it's happening after 2 years of pre-recs!

I, like Vsummer1, am not looking forward to the early classes!

Early in the summer I would get these panicky feelings when I thought of school...they started again yesterday after I dropped some papers by the school.

This school in California doesn't require a separate pharmacology class like my previous school did. I asked about that, and was told not to worry, we would learn it!

How was it in Arizona? HARD. Phamacology was hard. You can get an A in it though.
