Molloy Dual Degree/Spring 2017

Hi everyone. Just looking to start a new updated thread since there aren't any threads for 2016. I applied for spring 2017 semester. I called today to check on the status of my application, and admissions told me they don't start reviewing for spring semester until Oct-Nov. Don't think the woman would fib but that seems so late to me! Just wondering if anyone else had a similar response. Has anyone received paperwork for the Nelson Denny exam or received a call about an interview? I'm so nervous I'm on edge waiting for another 3 months :-( lol

HI! I also just applied for the spring 2017 semester and was told the exact same thing. Have you heard anything about required gpa?

I haven't heard anything through direct inquiry, but I've read on multiple Molloy boards that they wanted a cumulative gpa of 3.3 I'm not sure how strict they are about that though. It seems in years past, students were accepted much sooner than they are now :-(. Have you completed all your prereqs?

I have a 3.4 and am hoping that will be good enough to be accepted. I have not taken any prereqs yet have you ?

I had a 3.6, but I didn't start out as strong as I ended lol

Hello! I am applying for the Spring 2017 semester as well and was just wondering one thing... are letters of recommendation not needed? I have been searching everywhere to see if it's an admissions requirement but I don't see it listed anywhere.

Also, I've seen on other threads that people have been accepted to the program earlier than that but I could be wrong.

Hi! You do not need letters of recommendations to apply all you need to do is fill out an application and hand in your transcripts, if you're a Molloy alum admissions will already have your transcripts so all you will need to do in that case is send in an application and the fee of $40 will be waived.

Any word on the Nelson and Denny exams? I haven't received anything about it in the mail, just curious if anyone else has. The waiting process kills me -_-
