Hi there,
I wanted to start a post about Molloy’s BSN program starting Spring 2021. I didn't see there’s a post so I decided to make one. I just got accepted into the program and wanted to get advice from current or former students and students who plan to attend the program. I’m an NCC student and applied into NCC’s nursing program but won't get a decision before Molloy's deposit date. So I’m leaning on going to Molloy to secure my spot if I don't end up being accepted in NCC. So I want to get some insight in how well the program is and how hard it is. Also, how long will it take to complete if I have all my prereqs. I’m hoping 2 years but I’m also worried about the amount of classes stacked in a semester. I have a toddler also and have my child in NCC’s daycare but Molloy doesn't have a daycare as far as I know which will be a challenge to get her in a reputable daycare that won't be extremely expensive.
Also, does anyone know if NCC’s College Chem CHE 131 is comparable to Molloy’s CHE 1120?
Thanks in advance!

Hi first of all congratulations on your acceptance! I also applied for the Spring semester in 2021, but I haven't heard from them yet. When did you get the acceptance letter? I'm also transferring from qcc took most of the pre-req but when I talked to the counselor last time they said we must take at least three years. I'm a little confused. And how much did you pay for deposit fee also when was it due?
I got the letter via email last week. I’m going to call tomorrow to speak with admissions about the chem class they are requiring and how long will it take to graduate. The deposit is $400 and it’s due by November 2. They just emailed me my login info today. Hope you hear from them soon. Good luck!

Thank you! Also it would be great if you let me know how long will it take to graduate! If you don't mind me asking did you take the TEAS exam?

I took my TEAS exam since its required in many programs including NCC’s. Molloy only looks at your Math and Reading grades for the TEAS and it’s required.
Yes I got a acceptance letter today! I didn't take the TEAS yet! Now I have to study for that.. can you give me some advice??

I used the mometrix book and purchased the practice exams from ATI’s website. Molloy only looks at your reading and math and needs to be over a certain % (reading over 76 I believe and math over 80). Math I checked out BCraftmath on Youtube and scored a 92.3 with his videos. Reading I did well from mometrix book and Pocketprep app.

Hello!
Did you have a chance to ask about the graduation length?

It depends how many classes you have. If you did all prereqs they said 2 1/2 to 3 years since its in sequential order.
