hi rareruby the interview just ended this afternoon.the exam ended last sunday january19.i dont know when will be the next licensure exam since they just conducted it last february. we had our exam at san beda college we were asked to come at 7am for registration:uhoh3:.we are more than 1000 nurses i think and only 250+ nurses passed i think. then the result were posted in fb and the successful applicants were asked to come to diamond hotel for the interview.fortunately i passed the exam and the interview as well:yeah: they give a good salary package for the selected applicants but i just dont know when we will be deployed since visa application takes time:confused: according to the previous batch

regarding the exam it is a 50 item test you will answer it for 50minutes minus 10minutes for instructions by the omani reps so we answered it for 40mins. its difficult so you might want to check your ms books.mostly ms came out but they had managed to include pedia,psych,ortho,ob and some normal lab values.including pharma but just 2-3 questions.better read if you want to pass the exam

@schiz

may we know how much is their offer?

the moh oman offered us 800 usd as basic salary + allowances 200 and other allowances and increment annually :yeah: hope we will be deployed soon :cool: because according to other batch it took them 3-4months before they got their visa

according to other batch there are 3 agencies who offers job orders for moh oman.but in our batch only 2.the usual requirements, passport,cv prc id,cert and coe of 2yrs.they are very strict about the 2yr experience.my co worker who also passed the exam did not make it to the interview since she only have 1yr experience :crying2: too bad but her agency offered her another hospital but bound for ksa.the omani chief nurse told her to come back after she completed the 2yrs experience

@schiz

too bad for her but atleast she will still be working in ksa:)tnx agen schiz for not getting tired of answering my questions:)
