Published

Hey all! I didn’t see a thread for MMU CRNA 2022 prgram start, so figured I’d start one. Anyone know when interviews usually go out?

Riding in the same boat. Haven’t heard anything from them yet.

I haven’t heard anything yet either. Wondering if they will send out another wave of invites or if they will send out rejection letters? Waiting game is tough! Hope you guys hear something soon!

Good luck to everyone this week!  I'm excited to meet you as a second-year student when you start!! Is an exciting program, well put together, with amazing instructors.  Try to stay as relaxed as possible, they are amazing humans! Please reach out if you have any questions!

Any last words of advice for prepping for the interview?  I have been prepping for behavioral type questions as this is what I have heard is used mostly.  I’ve heard they more or less are just trying to get to know you.

Thanks in advance!

Be yourself, be confident, know your "why" as related to why you want to become a CRNA.

Interview day tomorrow. Mount Marty is my #1 choice school so extra nervous but also excited! Thank you to the current students for answering our questions- so appreciated!

My best advice is to obviously be yourself.  I did add as much clinical information that was relevant to the personal questions as I could.  For example, one person asked me something my peers would say I'm good at.  I said teaching, then proceeded to "teach" them what I taught my orient that I was training.

How did it go today everyone? I’ve been thinking about y’all

It went well I think! The professors are so nice. It really seemed to go quick the interviews were about 25 minutes and 15 minutes.

@CowboyMedic I was wondering if you could give me some insight on how soon you received your clinical sites from Mount Marty? Do you get them as soon as you’re offered a position to the school or is it much later on? Thanks in advance.

It sounds like we would be notified in the Spring of where we will be going for our primary sites.

They told me yesterday that it is part of our admission offer- so I was assuming we’d hear with our admission decisions in 2 weeks

You should get it when they offer. I got mine in March when I was pulled off the waitlist. Someone else will have to comment on receiving an offer right after interviews.
