MJC allnurses 2020

Hi guys! I thought it would be a great idea to start a new thread for those of us who are planning on applying to Modesto Junior College RN program. It would be great if we would all share with how many points we are applying with, this would give us an idea to see what are our chances are on getting in the program. With all the new changes, it is hard to tell what the cutoff on the points will be. I will be retaking my TEAS and hoping to apply with maybe 80 points or so. Hopefully ?????

Yeah I got in for Spring at Columbia. Haven't seen anyone else post about getting in for Sping yet.

That means they must have still done a lottery if I didn’t get in with 77 points for Columbia if your friend got in with 73.....just wondering nothing toward your friend CONGRATS to her

Hey guys because Mjc didn’t accept that many students this year looks like I will try to apply for deltas fall semester....because they allow students to take the TEAS 3 times....I took the TEAS twice and got the exact same score 72.7! I felt I studied my butt off for it. Does anyone have any recommendations to get a higher TEAS score?

Have you tried studying with their practice test on the ATI website? It’s a little expensive but I thought it was almost exactly like test. I was a little irresponsible and only studied for like 2 weeks and was able to get an 80.

Thank you! Yes I used that!.....I think maybe my problem was that I wasn’t timing myself

I used the yellow book I think it was called ATI TEAS secret study guide I also downloaded a few TEAS apps mostly science ones. I managed to pull off a 90 on my first attempt.It helped that I had just finish taking math 89, I was surprised to get 100% on the math section. Good luck

Did you end up re-taking your TEAS?

Yes scored an 84% so it works

That is great! How did you study differently? Did you take the home proctored test? I'm not sure why its intimidating me to do it that way... I'm just worried about technical issues I guess.
