Missouri to Illinois Reciprocity?

I have tried to get in touch with Il but no one picks up the phone and I don't know what to do. I just passed NCLEX in MO. and want to get lisc in IL but not sure where to go or what forms to use or anything. No one answers phone ... someone please help? Thanks.

Have you looked at the IL BON website? All the info and forms for applying for licensure by endorsement (which is what you want to do) should be there.

Just go to the ILBON website. It tells you exactly what you need to get licensed there. The same for every other BON. And IL is not a compact state.

Use the drop down box I think it says application forms. The first drop down listing is what you want if you are an RN. The booklet that pops up gives you instructions. It's the professional registered nurse booklet. You will need an endorsement license. You provide the information that it is requesting. PM me if you have more questions.

I am in a similar situation - I applied for my IL license (took and passed my NCLEX in TN) last week and it was not an easy process. No one ever answers the phone on any of the numbers you call. What I would suggest - apply for the temporary license as well. That gets to you within 2 weeks after they get it (supposedly). The permanent license takes 4-8 weeks! My employer will let me work on my temporary license until my permanent one comes in. I sent off my permanent application and my temp license application separately. The IDFPR website is just not put together well, but it is what it is. Good luck and I hope you get your license soon!
