Minneapolis local nursing agencies

U.S.A. Minnesota

I'm relocating to Minneapolis in January and would be interested in doing agency work, instead of being staff RN for the increased flexibility. I'm a pediatric nurse.

Are there any reputable nurse staffing agencies in the area? I'm not sure where to start looking.

THis is the place my former employer used when it needed temps. (clinic work) I also worked for them for about a month in between jobs (also clinic). They were good based on my very limited experience. Dont know how much call they get for hospital work. You might be better off trying to get on the float pool at a couple hospitals. :twocents:

The gossip I am hearing is that most pediatricians are preferring to have their patients go to this hospital rather than the pediatric wings of other hospitals. That is just rumor tho so take in with a grain of salt. They may have a float pool.

Specializes in MedSurg.

Favorite Staffing is a good agency, and also has a travel division if you want that. Things are slow now, which is typical for end of year, although I'm not a peds RN - it might be better for you. Should pick up after the new year, hopefully, and they were a better agency to work for than MSN/Intellistaff (which is also local). Good luck.
