Googled "Navy officer pay," found this: http://www.navy.com/joining/benefits/pay.html
Ohmg,
The US Navy will give you 1/2 credit for every one year of professional nursing (BSN not ADN). So say you've been an RN-BSN for 2 years, that would be 1 year credit toward your next rank. So instead of waiting 2 years for O-2, you'd wait one year.
When you look at the Navy Pay chart and find O-1E, that means someone had prior military experience. So for someone like me who served for 5 years as a corpsman, I would be an O-1E greater than 4 years pay bracket.
I've been a nurse for 3 years but 2.75 of those years was ADN. Getting O-2 or O-3 can be both a blessing and a curse. If you're an O-3 and get passed over 2 or 3 times, you'd get an involuntary separation or have to resign your commission.

I'm finishing up my ADN. I can be done with my BSN in one year due to previous college.
I'm wondering what my starting pay would be?
Suggestions, links to info?
Thanks!
