Milazzo Certification? - why 2000 hours of experience not required?

Published

Hello All,

I am new to this site, so hang in there with me while I learn the in's and out's.

I am CONFUSED!!!! I am very much wanting to become certified as a LNC. The more I learn about different programs, the more confused I become. It is important to me to be certified and not receive just a certificate. I am considering Milazzo but why do they not require 2000 hours of consulting experience in order to sit for the cert exam like the AALNC does?

please checkout the aalnc informational thread found at the top of this fourm. i think you will find this very helpful in guiding your decision to become educated as lnc.

i cannot answer the question about why the milazzo program does not require lnc experience prior to certification.

good luck with all of your decisions and if you have any specific questions about the lnc career, please post here in the legal nursing forum.
