Waiting to hear but my stats are -

3.94 cumulative, 4.0 science, 60 hours of shadowing, 2.5 years pediatric CICU, 1 year adult CICU, multiple committees (med safety, VAD super user group, ecmo)

save some GPA for the rest of us boss

Hi guys,

my stats are 3.8gpa, 4.0 science, ccrn, 2years ICU no shadowing hours. I just got contacted by the program director today that shadowing hours are encouraged and I should keep her updated as soon as I got some shadowing hours. Not a positive thing but best of lucks with those applied with shadowing hours

Through my personal email. The one that you listed on Nursingcas

Specializes in CVICU.

my cumulative is not that great. science GPA 3.8. CCRN, CMC, CSC and TNCC if that matters. 3 years CVICU + Trauma/mixed ICU. Charge, preceptor and rapid response team. 26 hours of shadowing. Diversity CRNA Workshop Attendee at Midwestern last April 2024.

My cumulative GPA is 3.9, science GPA 3.6. CCRN. 3 years MICU experience. Charge nurse, preceptor, mentor. I have 20 hours of shadowing.

Still have not heard anything yet, cumulative 3.9, science 4.0, CCRN, 1.5 years cvicu, 30 hours shadow.

Is it still worth it to apply? I know that the deadline was November 1st and that any applications after that would be accepted on a rolling basis for any available seats.

As far as I know from this thread no one has heard anything about interviews so couldn't hurt. Seems like there's some stars in this thread though I don't think I have a chance 😂

I feel this on a spiritual level.  My clinical aspect is top notch but my GPA is *** in comparison

well don't let your spirits down! you never know what they really focus on in picking candidates. A lot of the times they see how they like the person in the interview too. Believe in yourself and what you have achieved:)
