  1. Hi yall! I'm in the 2025 cohort. Faculty has been very supportive so far. We haven't started clinicals yet but the class ahead of us is having a great experience so far. Reach out if you have questions! Good luck!
  2. Thank you! This is super helpful. I'm in Las Vegas now. Really hoping to work a little because I apparently never thought I would get in and definitely should have saved more money ? I'm a resource nurse in Peds critical care now so I have more downtime than bedside. But obviously it's such a hard decision because I know these classes will be hard. Definitely was thinking having them crammed into 3-4 weeks would be a lot, even though I do love the idea of block scheduling. I still haven't heard anything about financial aid. Anyone else?
  3. Did anyone make a FB group for accepted students? I don't have a Facebook but I'll make one if you guys are on there. Has anyone gotten any advice as far as study materials like iPads/recording devices? I see some students using iPad Air and the pencil to take notes on lecture slides. also, does anyone know what the structure of online class portion looks like? Is it zoom live classes or just power points we need to learn? I want them to give us more info on everything anyone planning on working through the first year? so many questions ?
  4. I was thinking the same thing. It's a tight timeline. When do classes start? I wonder if they're getting a lot of people cancel that have been accepted elsewhere. I'm on the waitlist but I got into another school. I'm just following to be a cheerleader for yall because I'm invested now haha
  5. We have until April 9th to pay the seat deposit so maybe yall will start hearing something after that
  6. Did you fill out the supplemental application when you applied? I know there were some people in the thread that didn't do that. I'm sure it's a long process for them and it's a new program so they're likely going to be unorganized. Positive thoughts for you. No news is good news at this point!
  7. Same. Is anyone else stressed about the financial portion? This school is so expensive! I wish I had more money saved ?
  8. I wouldn't lose hope yet! but just FYI - UNLV opened applications for their new program in case you hadn't heard about it!
  9. I'm on the waitlist also and haven't heard anything. I did get in to a different school so I will most likely be withdrawing my application unless they gave me an interview soon
  10. My overall GPA was 3.78. No GRE CCRN, 4 years NICU, 2 years CVICU, currently at 8 months leadership in pediatric critical care. I also had some good recommendations from the CNO of my current hospital and the head surgeon of the CVICU (not sure how much they care about that). No shadow hours. I applied in November and got the call 3/18
  11. Does anyone know how big the class is anticipated to be? Can't wait to meet yall! I live in Vegas (since July) so I can try to answer location questions if anyone has them!
  12. They called me at 5pm PST so probably tomorrow you will hear more. And just FYI it was a Hawaii phone number. Good luck everyone!
  13. The phone call is an acceptance! They are waiving interviews.
  14. I got a voicemail today from them with no information just a call back number. Of course I work nights so I was sleeping.
  15. They also said interviews would be first week of February so ??‍♀️
