Midwestern State University Fall 2013

Does anyone have any information about Midwestern's Fall 2013 nursing class? I am so confused! I applied, but for weeks I didn't receive any email so I wasn't even sure if my application went through. So I called them and the lady said she sent me an email for a background check, but I never got it so she sent it again. Now that it's been a month since then, I am so lost. Most of the other nursing schools have more information online, or a place where you can check the status of your application. But I'm not receiving anything from Midwestern so I'm afraid they're going to email me and I won't get it! I emailed her again a few days ago, and I just got an email about getting my fingerprint done.

I haven't called, I'll just wait on my letter when it's time. :S It's scary though. Does anyone know what day of the week we will be receiving it? Also, if you are placed on the waiting list, how long does it take to get a call to get in?

omg yayayayya i got in..man i need to get together with you guys. i am still in shock that i got in. i just applied just cause but i didn't think i will get in she said i had 72 points...and i was number 17!!!

I got the wait list email today. It said we'll know by June 10th! Fingers crossed!!

I got the acceptance email this morning! Has anyone else got in?

Also, how is life in WF? I'm stressing about housing and work. :o

attend new student Orientation. Living on your own is pretty cool! I bet you'll enjoy it!

Can't wait to meet all you guys as well. And yes, job searching and apartment seeking will be stressing and more because I live two hours away from Wichita Falls. I have to plan and get organized before I move over there. :nailbiting:

Same here! I'm honestly at a lost. If all else fails I'll just live in campus, even though I hate dorm life!

Anyone know how many people were accepted?

Very true, although I've never actually lived on campus. :unsure:

Anywho, I've created a Facebook page if anyone wants to join in. It's where we can keep in touch or ask each other questions since we will be starting off together knowing very little of what's to come. ;) I've tried searching to see if there are any other Facebook groups for nursing students but couldn't seem to find any.

Try searching for it again...I recently changed the settings. Hopefully it is showing up now. If not try typing the facebook URL in the browser followed by /groups/mwsunursing/ :sneaky:
