Anyone attended this university?

What are the teachers like?

Im really interested in others who have completed the accelerated BSN program. Did you feel well prepared?

Has anyone completed this program? how was it? i'm considering applying for the ABSN program. I have been a LPN for 2.5 years and ready to move forward in nursing.

I haven't completed it yet. I'm getting ready to finish Mod 4 out of 6. I graduate August 12th. The program is intense but I'm glad I'm doing it. I can't believe that I'm in the home stretch. We have a couple LPN's in our program. I say you should at least apply. Let me know if you have specific questions :)

Chapel attendance is NOT required for the ABSN program.

I attend the MNU ABSN. The school has significantly more teacher turn over than they lead on in the conversations with prospective students. Chances are you won't have the professors that any of us have. Most of the best Professors are the ones that are working on their DNP. The ones that are PhD or working on PhD are worthless. They don't have a clue what real nurses do. The professors you want are the ones that work on the floor full time and teach one class. Or, you want the DNP nurses that have 10-20 years of relevant experience. Do your research and find out who you're getting before you sign up.

Hi all! I'm in the process of completing my application for hopefully Fall 2017 ABSN. I couldn't find any information, but does anybody know what is the average pre-req GPA and TEAS score that are getting accepted?

If you get waitlisted and then not-accepted for say Fall semester, will you have a better chance getting in the next go around in Spring?

I'm a LPN with ~2.5 years of skilled nursing under my belt in the state of Texas, which is very lenient with scope of practice. I have a pre-req GPA of 3.5 and currently refreshing up on the TEAS to take later this month.

Hello. I am currently waiting on MNU's decision for this coming fall. My overall GPA is 3.01. I scored a 80.0% on the tease test. My GPA is not great but I have a pretty strong prerequisite GPA of 3.8. It's been a long journey getting to this point for me. I have been a police officer for the past six and a Half years knowing that I would do what I could to become a nurse someday.

When did you submit your application? I'm a little bit late in the game but I should be submitting my application on Monday for this Fall. Our scores are very similar. My GPA is 3.19 and scored a 81.3% on the TEAs. I think your preqeq GPA is a little higher than mine.

I submitted my application in February, but they told me they wouldn't review it until I had taken the TEAS which I just took on Wednesday.

Hi!I am currently enrolled in the ABSN program. I'm just finishing mod one. I think the teachers are fantastic so far. They are all practicing nurses themselves, so I enjoy hearing their individual perspectives on nursing and stories from their nursing career.

Chapel is only required in the traditional BSN program I believe. (I'm in the ABSN program) Everything else you said is very true though.
