Microbiology: first exam. not so hot. :(

I want ot give up. Taking ap2 and microbiology this semester. Having trouble balancing them both. How many hours do I study for each class? I work part time too about 20 hours a week. I took my first micro exam today. Not feeling very confident and I have been studying all week!!

Feel SO hopeless. Any tips? These two classes are the last classes I need for pre reqs to nursing program! Thats why I decided to take them both. Jsut wanted to vent and see if there are any otehr people feeling this way.

Having taken A&P2 last semester and taking Micro this one (am doing well so far, fingers crossed) I would say a really good resource are online sites quizlet.com and flashcarddb.com. A lot of students will upload their own previous test questions/answers and flashcards. I find that in general there is kind of a template to these science courses, so check them out. Just search something like Microbiology Ch 1, etc. and take a look at the questions/terms on there, and likely they will compare to what you are studying. So many of these same books are used in lots of schools. Good luck!

thank you all for your advice and encouragement!! i am trying to change my attitude and improve my study habits. i have my first AP exam thursday, so i studied for 4 hours today. plan on doing some more tomorrow and my goal is to GET UP EARLY! always been a struggle for me but i need to make sacrifices and re-arrange my tie in order to succeed. feeling better!
