I've already started downloading podcasts and similar things from iTunes to get ready for the semester. It's bad, I wanted class to end all summer, and now I'm excited again already! They released the booklist for my class today, sort of, but there's no ISBN numbers. I really don't want to pay the bookstore prices because the newest edition from the author on Amazon is about $60 less than the bookstore wants. But I can't find the lab manual on Amazon at all, and I'm worried that there will be some ridiculous course pack or something that makes it so much more expensive.
Here's links to some of the stuff I've downloaded from iTunes already if you're interested.

I'm huge on podcasts because I have a boring data entry job where I'm allowed to listen to my iPod at work. Because of this, I have 40 hours a week to fill and I need lots of stuff to listen to! This is when I re-listen to my class lectures that I tape as well.
My book/course pack was ridiculously expensive as usual...something like $192 and of course it's shrink wrapped so I can't open it becauseyou can't return it if it's open and I want to verify with the prof that it is in fact the book I need. I hope it has something like the MyA&P stuff that I used for that class, that was so helpful! I'm at a new school for Micro so that's making me nervous on top of the scary-ness of the material. I'm gonna need a pill on the first day of class I think!
Welcome aboard ya'll!
Hi,
I am taking microbiology this fall...along with A&P I, nutrition, and a speech class. I am quitting my job this week because of the anticipated stress level. Oh, and I am a single mother of 2 1/2-year-old twins. So I am a little nervous about this semester!
Hoepfuly having some support online will help, since real-life study groups aren't really an option for me.

Hi ya'll! Anybody taking Micro this coming fall semester and want to form a study group? I did this for A&P I and II and it helped tremendously! I'm taking it along with Chem 1151 (Survey of Chem). Thanks!
