Micro w/o taking biology?

The last biology class I took was in 9th grade. I'm going into my second year of college and hope to get my prereqs done in time to apply to the college of nursing for the fall of '07. I haven't taken a biology class in college and I don't have room in my schedule to take one before microbiology. Will this be a problem? Has anyone done this and still passed the class with high marks? Thanks.

I have never taken biology, started with chemistry to get into A/P then took micro. It all depends on the teacher. My A/P class was a combined class while waiting to get into the nursing program, I went back and took Anatomy and Physiology seperately. Wish, I had taken this teacher the first time. He explained everything with examples. Finally, I have an understanding of the subject instead of just memorizing the stuff in my books. Good luck you can do it.
