I think A & P I and II were harder than microbiology. I put in way more effort for both A & P classes...and earned the same grade in Micro with a more laid back attitude towards the material. If you like the faster pace...definitely take micro over the summer. I have a friend who struggled all through A & P I and II during the regular length semesters...she was a wiz at micro during the summer!
I think your best bet is to try and ask someone who has taken the class from the professor you would take. It really makes a world of difference. I just got done taking Micro this summer from an instructor that took pride in the fact that he teaches the hardest Micro section - but, if you survive his class you really learn a lot. There's another professor that is just plain easy. However, you don't get challenged and you don't learn as much. I found A&P easier because it is a bit more intuitive in that you have a frame of reference whereas with Micro everything is so different and new. The bottom line is it's going to depend on your instructors, but I think in general Micro is probably harder that A&P. Also, if you do take in the summer, make that your only class if you want to do well. Good luck.

I was wondering which is harder A & P's or the MICRO classes I finished A&P 1 (Spring semester) with a 96 and A&P 2 with a 95 (SUMMER).
I was also wondering if I should take the micro during summer or a regular length semester
I took A&P 2 during the summer and I beleive I like getting it over in a month vs 3 months.
