Hi, all. I will be applying to Nursing school next fall...
How hard would it be to take Microbiology and A&P 1 at the same time? It's basically my only option right now if I want to have the majority of my science courses done before applying!
I just want to know others experience with these courses and what y'all think!
Also, what are y'alls experiences with Nutrition? I will probably take this one as well with Micro and A&P.

If you want to do Micro and A&P 1 together - manage your time well.
A&P 1 is a LOT of information - the muscles, skeletal system, nervous system (we had 3 chapters on the nervous system alone . . .)
Come up with a study method that works for you: audio/visual etc - do you need more breaks and shorter study periods or can you go for a long time and still retain the information?
I strongly suggest that you read chapters in advance - especially with nutrition! This way when you come to lecture the information is already in your mind, but supplement it with the lecture and you'll find that you connect the dots a bit faster.
It's always better to work ahead, rather than behind
Nutrition wasn't bad at all - I really enjoyed it! It was a bit to take in, but it all depends on your professor for this one I think. Just make sure to read chapters in advance and come up with ways to remember which vitamins do what -
for example - your fat soluble ones I remember as 'ADEK'
K - clotting (blood), D - (bone)Density, C - collagen (formation), A - (osteoblast/clast)Activity.
It's small things like this that are going to help you retain the information thrown at you.
Do well on the skeletal system, and muscles will be so much easier too

I found nutrition very easy. As far as A&P with Micro - I'm taking A&P II this semester with Micro, so I can't say how it is quite yet.
Good luck.
