For the title/credential of school nurse you must be an RN. School nurse certification is required

Michigan is dead-last in number of school nurses per student, because schools in Michigan aren't required to have nurses at all.
You *can* get hired in to work at a school as an LPN, but the odds are NOT in your favor even if you're an RN with a BSN, simply because there aren't many schools here that can afford to pay for an employee that isn't required by law.
If being a school nurse is your goal, I recommend moving to a different state.
