michigan salaries

Published

Hi!

I'm a nurse in NY but originally from Michigan.

Just wondering what the starting salary is in Michigan for a new grad at the bigger academic/teaching hospitals.

Thanks!

you can go to www.salary.com to check on any job. its either on that site or another that you could find the pay scale based on location. i googled it a while back so im not sure what it is anymore.

NYNurse, I'm not sure if St. John is a teaching hospital but I know from their website (st.john.org) they start their new grads @ 23.64 or 94, something like that. Check out they're website, and I think DMC is similar. I found salaries on DMC site before, but they're site is tricky. Good luck!

I believe Detroit receiving and Harper university are teaching hospitals both part of DMC, and the starting salary is $22.00.

Specializes in Tele, Home Health, MICU, CTICU, LTC.

University of Michigan is $21.27 for grad nurses with numerous benefits.
