Hey girlies, what did you think of your very first week of NS??? Tell us!!! Aren't you happy to be there??!! You must be so excited. Do tell.

Okay, let me just mention, with all of the stress for today, I have developed a ZIT the size of Texas on my face....okay, give me a NANDA for that! Work with me, Anxiety related to nursing school stress as evident by (AEB)not being able to close nsg school books, insomnia and zits!!! My plan?student will go to bed NOW! I think that is specific enough.;)

We did good D, pat yourself on the back.

Things go OK for me. There are a few things I would change right now but there is nothing that I can do.

I let you guys know after my next pharmacology test as well as my med. surg 2 clinical and class on monday...then I can assess better where I stand with things.

:D

SGN 08, Please tell me about Pharm. I am thinking about taking it over the summer 10 weeks instead of 15 weeks along with taking Jordan for Patho on-line. I know Maddie is teaching Pharm on Saturdays. I really like her teaching style~~I really hope it stayes the same for Med-Surg I. Where is your Med Surg 2 class? I thought I had Peltz for clinical, but I have Doufus instead. Please feel free to call or PM me. Thank you so much for all the encouragment and inside tips you have given me.

Pharm is a tough class which is why they suggest you take it alone. (although if you take Jordan for patho you will not have to worry to much about that combo but dont take a regular patho class and pharm that wouldnt be wise at all.)

Make sure to try and get either maddie or caroline for lecture. It isnt that I dont like thomas as a person, she is nice and everything, but for this subject the lecture is not really as focused as I would like it to be. It is very self study based and not exactually the most discriptive one what is key points and what is obscure but still going to be tested. I would suggest to take the course in the longer period of time BUT OB from what I have heard is a REALLY HARD class and you do not want to fail either classes or BOTH because you dont have enought study time.

i think maddie will be able to drive you through the pharmacology class just fine.

pssss...i left you a privet message

how is your grading scale set up?

Can anyone tell me how the NET test was?? I just want to know if it was hard, was it easy?? Someone told me it was a timed test!!!

No, the NET is not an easy test. Some think it is, but the majority say it's not. The math portion is 6th-7th grade math. Lots of fractions-to-decimals, percentages. Most people do well on the math. It's the reading comprehension part that fails people. SOunds easy, but several of the answers they offer you appear correct. Most people buy that little blue and white book to help them prepare for it. Hope you didn't need that $40. (Actually, try the library - WCCCCCCCD has them.)

ANd YES it's timed. There's plenty of time for the math....not enough time for the reading. Good luck.
