Thank you. I believe this is the program I was lookung for since you mentioned WI. Another LPN told me about this but did not remember the name. Said the clinicals were in WI.
Thank you again, I will look into this.

I have already started this program and so far so good. It is different but I do like it. I bought Lisa Arends CDs from ebay and they have everything I need and then some. I am taking NC 3 on the 30th and then I am on to NC 4.

I just graduated from LPN school and was seriously considering doing EC. A bunch of people from my school are already doing this. They have to go to Ohio for one weekend (after all classes are done) for the clinicals. I was really going to do this because I would have a bunch of people to study with. The only reason I can't do it is b/c my husband and I might relocate in the future and there are many states that do not accept EC for RN. So that would be a total waste of money.
That is the only reason I'm not doing it. I was really bummed b/c it sounds perfect for my schedule.
Good luck to everyone doing it just double check with your states BON.
Care Bear,
If you can in any way go to a brick&mortar RN program -do it. Do you have all the usual prereqs? You may be able to get into an LPN to RN Fast-track program that some community colleges offer, or even though they're getting harder and harder to find--a hospital program. I understand the whole relocation issue. That was one of the (albeit, complicated) reasons I chose to finish with EC. At my age it was a short list of choices.
Yep, I have all pre-req's for the RN program done. I have been looking at CC so I will probably be doing that. Thanks for the help :)

I am thinking about enrolling in excelsior soon. How long did it take you to complete the program, and truthfully do you take any 'knocks' from people about getting your degree the non-traditional way. I worry about that in interviews ect.
