Hello to all, I am new to this site and getting ready to make my dream and become a Nurse. I am starting with the LPN and then moving on to my RN with the bridge/fast track program. I am considering different schools and was wondering how any felt now about the college that are going through the program. I have heard about all of the state board things but from my understanding that has been worked out and things have been running smoothly. I also wanted to know how the classes were set up and how many you take on average a session? I attended Miami Jacobs a few years back and you took 1 to 2 classes at a time but it was not in the nursing program. I am planning on taking evening classes to be able to be at home with my kids during the day. How long is the LPN program and does Miami Jacobs credit transfer to a RN program. Last but not least do they offer IV certification? If I have missed anything or if anyone has any other info, please give me everything you have to make an informed decision. Thanks a million!

I am sorry to chime in to this message kinda late, but I'm curious if the LPN program is part-time and if you go Monday-Thursday the first two quarters, too, or only when clinicals start.
