Miami Dade College fall 2023

Published

Does anyone heard when the application will be dropping for fall 2023?

Well, don't let your cum GPA discourage you.

its 33.33 percent TEAS, 33.33 percent cum and 33.33 science so you have a change since your TEAS is good and your science too.

MDC is super weird with their acceptances.

I applied super late... like 4 days before the due date ... I'm sure that probably plays a part in something

LOL as long as you reached it before the deadline though, although it was extended so technically you were super late ? usually they send the emails around 3PM. I'm going to wait until Tuesday before I accept the LPN.

You got this! We will get in ??

Good luck ! ?

What track did you apply to?

I heard that LPN aren't being hired anymore. I got the acceptance too but now I'm doubting on if I should do it

LPNs aren't hired a lot at hospitals.

but you can find other employment

I applied for generic full time and part time. And no LPN aren't but you can work at a Dr offices/Urgent care..

I haven't gotten anything yet, I've also checked the application status on the actual Medical Admission site and both PT and FT still say 'Application Submitted'... But there's still hope

@Caseyobando what are you going to do? We have until the 17th to respond. What's your GPA?

@Bryam M if they would've kept the deadline May 1st I believe we all would've gotten acceptance letters by now because not alot of people applied. They just made it harder for people that was on point with deadlines and testing.

We have until June 20th to respond for the LPN

@Caseyobando LOL... no, love. It says we have one week to respond and we have until June 20th to send in all documents, like the LEVEL II background, BLS, Vaccinations and stuff. But I also read, once we accept we can not switch to anything else. So it's like it's a gamble atp.

OMG I read it wrong thank u for telling me

I just don't think LPN is worth it. CNAs get hired more bc hospitals don't want to sign a contract with LPNs when cnas do the same thing yes the pay is less but u can get your CNA in 3 months

@Caseyobando I am currently a CNA, it's not worth it literally. But I did type in certain hospitals and put in title LPN and jobs came up..  you can knock it out probably in two semesters. I work at the hospital now and I don't think I will once I'm done with RN. The stress level is extremely high.
