Miami Dade College fall 2023

Does anyone heard when the application will be dropping for fall 2023?

How much do u get paid an hour as a CNA?

CNA can start at 12-15 an hour but I get paid The amount of patients you have and the work load is overwhelming. Nurses don't help, you get treated like a janitor/nobody they talk to you any kind of way.

@Caseyobando what are you going to do? We have until the 17th to respond. What's your GPA?

@Bryam M if they would've kept the deadline May 1st I believe we all would've gotten acceptance letters by now because not alot of people applied. They just made it harder for people that was on point with deadlines and testing.

Yea, they did this for the Spring applications. I was taking my last few classes and heard about it, I just don't like the lack of communication.

@Bryam M  yeah it's sad... I was in my last pre-req as well.... It's begging stressful I'm going to see if I can apply for BCC it's just I have to take the HESI for them and take the micro lab

Broward county ??

Y don't u do agency

I don't think you should lose hope.

I have friends who got their acceptance letters towards the end of June!
it's just a lengthy process.

Fall term is more competitive than Spring because they accept way less students.

Yes Broward, I have the app but they are for nursing homes and that's way worst than hospitals. And the pay still sucks nothing down here is going to pay $26-31 like up in Orlando does. But I know I was on this app called Nursa the CNA makes like 20 something close to 40 but that's in the middle of the United States

Thank You for such positivity ❤️

I just know that getting a job as an LPN is tuff. Yes they would technically pay u more than a CNA but hospitals don't want to hire them bc it's a headache for them due to the contract. LPN takes 3 semesters and CNA takes less than 1 semester to complete

I didn't do my CNA with them. You can do CNA in a week or two

Hey guys, I got accepted to Generic FT literally just now... don't lose hope
