I have heard a lot of great things about MGH. I'm not completely positive if its by email or not. I can double check. I currently work with two nurses, one who is in the NP program (direct entry) and one who is in the PhD program. The one in the direct entry program says she really likes it. Once you're in its fairly easy. With that being said she had a GREAT stats in her undergrad so that's pretty objective. Her clinicals have been pretty much what she wants which is always a plus. I know two other people who graduated in 2000 and 2002 so things are probably different, but I haven't heard anything bad about MGH. The workload is balanced pretty much. The girl in the program now says that she has 2 "easy" classes, one hard (that counts in her eyes) and clinicals. They try to balance the program so that you can focus on the class that actually matters and clinicals.

Anxiously waiting to hear back from MGH... I applied for the DE MSN with a focus in Women’s Health/Adult. I was looking at some of the posts from last year and they didn’t hear back until March! I hope that isn’t the case this year. Where else did you all apply?

Anyone else find it strange that MGH doesn't interview? Amazing they have success picking candidates based purely on scores and essays that could be written by anyone.

Spoke with admissions by email yesterday and they are aiming to get decisions mailed 8-10 weeks from the deadline... Late January/early February! Good luck everyone!

They didn't specify but i think in past years decisions were sent out by mail.

I've read on these forums that people are informed via regular mail unless they have received a scholarship which is then accompanied by an email. Not positive this will change or not.
