Hi, I live in Ocean Springs on the MS Gulf Coast and will be starting the RN nursing program this Fall (2006) at the Jackson County Campus. I was just wondering if anyone has been through their program lately and could possibly give me some tips on the instructors. Are they really @$$holes like everyone says nursing teachers are? Was the program worth it? Any tips on good clinical sites?
I'm taking a CNA certification course this May from JC also. I figure it will help me out a little with my first semester of nursing school. Anyway, any comments or tips you may have would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

My sister graduated from there 3 or 4 years ago. It was a pretty tough program but she was well prepared when she graduated.

I've only heard good things about the Jackson County RN program and instructors. I did my LPN at J.D. in Gulfport.
