Hi! For those interested, just this morning I heard from a newly hired staff nurse in Metropolitan Medical Center that the hospital is currently hiring staff nurses. Sadly, I can't apply there for personal reasons.
Do any of you know other hospitals there in Manila or QC that are also currently hiring staff nurses without undergoing months of volunteer training prior to employment? Kindly inform me please.
By the way, my informant said the give preference to chinese applicants.
@bluesparklerini Thanks for sharing the info! Really appreciated it! :) Well 6 mos. will be good for now if ever since I am more focused on gaining hospital experience :) Thank you very much! I'll try my luck there. ^_^Heheh! i just wanna share what I know, there is NO training fee, they won't pay you and you will not pay them either for a month of training. After 1 month, you will be evaluated, then if your
performance is good, you will be a contractual employee for 6 mos and accdg to @fissure, once contract is expired, you can renew it but it will take years for you to be regularized..
@viv hi im sorry, i might've wrote it in a diff thread. well anyways, no training fee. 1 month training. there's a 100/day allowance. but it will be given to you after 6 months {if your performance is good}.
@fiss oops I'm confused hehe @blue said they will not pay me hehe. Anyway I still thank you for the info @fissure! You're a big help! :)
When I asked the chief nurse when will be able to hear from then, she said that by the end of November or 1st week of December because they are busy with the accreditation.
Hi angeliquenurse! Were you already interviewed by the chief nurse? Really, like when was that? Because I was just interviewed by the HR alone last Nov 14
I was interviewed last nov 11
how many weeks did you wait for the final interview with the chief nurse after the interview with the HR? please help coz I don't know if I should still expect or not. Also, when you had your HR interview, were you also told that "we will just text you if we'll hire you and if not, you can reapply after 6 mos." Because we were told the same thing when I asked my fellow RNs who were with me that day.

Yes I was told the same thing, even the other interviewees were told the same.
My interview with the HR and the Chief Nurse was held on the same day. I passed my requirements last August, had the exam by Oct 3 and was interviewed Nov 11, no update 'til now.
My friend who just had her exam this nov was interviewed by the HR but she was not yet done with the Chief nurse, I'll keep you posted if ever she was called for the final interview
