Metro tech LPN 2014-2015

Published

Hi so this is my first time posting here and had some questions. I am going to apply for the LPN program at metro tech, currently I have 44 points and I have not taken the ATI critical thinking test yet. I was wondering how bad, or easy is the critical thinking test? Are the points I have right now without the test competitive? What is a good score on the critical test to make me competitive? I also would like to know if anybody else is applying and would even like to know if the program is a good program!!! Thanks!!! :):)

I'm wondering the same thing. I currently have 31 points but will be retaking the math portion of the compass test so hopefully that will go up to 37 points. The advisor told me last yr the person accepted with the lowest score was 48. I really hope I will get in but it's not looking too good for me.

Oh my is that so? I'm honestly nervous if that's the case, have you taken the critical thinking test yet?

No I haven't but I plan to. I'm hoping that maybe as much ppl won't apply this year or at least the points are a bit lower. I'm really anxious to get into this program. Hopefully we both get in.

Yes I am hoping that too and I am anxious as well!!! And yes hopefully we both get in!

Hey. Have you applied yet?

No I haven't I was thinking of not applying but talked to an advisor and was told it was best to do the LPN first!!! So I'm going to go get my transcripts tomorrow and talk to an advisor Thursday! Have you applied yet??

I have been meaning to leave a comment, but I have been so busy. I am currently a student in the PN program at Metro-Tech. I got in with 56 points. It was very competitive. Yes, you need the critical thinking test!! Everyone in my class except for one, has all their college science courses including Chemistry. A few have even already completed microbiology. Do not shortchange yourself, you must take that critical thinking test

Yes I did apply but I still have to turn in my transcripts and retake the math portion of the compass test. I'm starting to get discouraged because I don't think I will be able to get over 50 points.
