Methodist Dallas Internships summer 2015

Hey everyone! Just thought I'd start a thread for people applying for internships at Methodist Dallas for summer 2015. I got an interview for L&D! Anybody else heard back for interviews?:)

I mean, there were a ton of other candidates and I do not believe they are all on allnurses so they could have been offered a job and we do not know about it!

One of the recruiter told me you would get a denial email if you aren't chosen. So don't give up hope unless you receive that email. I think she is just playing catch up.

Yea I'm sure there are ppl on here that have just been stalking, lol. As soon as they get an offer they will post. But I'm pretty sure she's still working on it. We just need to be patient for a little longer :)

It's a blessing. I was offered an OR position as well but declined it today.

I would love the OR. I just want to get bedside nursing experience as a new grad before going to the OR. I heard they get stuck there. I was afraid of that.

If I was part of the OR, I would want to be in on the action, such as being a first assist, instead of sitting around counting the number of instruments that you have.

They said it was for circulating and scrub nurse. I'll try it later in my career.

At Methodist Mansfield. Med surg internship. I really want critical care but I didn't want to pass up on a job. But I think med surg will be a great learning experience for me as a new grad.

Yay welcome to Mansfield Methodist. The internship coordinator is AMAZING. She is going to help you so much and prepare you well 😀
