Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hello everyone,

I'm looking into bridging into this program and wanted to know if there are any students out there (current or former) that would be able to provide information for this program. Such as quality of program, difficulty getting in, etc.... I do know that they are now accredited by ACEN. Any information would be great.

Thank you

$612.50 a month for the first 4 months then it goes down to $393.75 a month until the end of program. Very reasonable I would say. of course your have to put down that initial $1950 to get the ball rolling which do not count towards tuition. Did you decide if you will be starting in May yet?

That's not bad at all I think I'm just going to start in August and just take this last semester to just relax before entry

Ok... are you in school now?

Hi Leslie will you be starting the May program?

No just working

Hi!!

I took my exam two weeks ago and passed it! I am super excited to start in the August class. I thought it would be helpful to let others who plan to test know how the NLN Comp test was (at least for me). Lots of maternity as others mentioned, know your complication risks after certain procedures (placenta previa, aminocentisis, fetal decelerations & etc). Safety & priorities (maslow & ABC), some psychosocial scenarios and knowing the right thing to say to the patient. I only had two dose calculations (drip rate). The Kaplan NCLEX book was a great reference.

Anyone else have any plans on starting in August? Any advice from former or current students would be appreciated! Thanks! Good luck to everyone. =0)

Congrats on passing the exam! I take my exam on May 7th and hoping to start with the August class as well. What was your exam score if you don't mind sharing?

Hi, I see that you recently attended Mercy School Of Nursing. Is this the one in Miami ? If so how are they on the fininacial aspect of things ? They emailed me a week before the semester starts saying I'm accepted in the program.

Congratulations on your acceptance! Mercy has an awesome program. I'm graduating tomorrow, so it is possible to get through it. They do not have any financial aid for the RN program unfortunately, so I paid primarily with my savings and when that ran out I worked throughout the program to pay it off. The best part about it, is that you graduate debt free.

I have a question since there is no financial aid for mercy rn program does that mean you cant get a sallie mae loan or any type of loan to attend this school?

Thank you so much ! I'm doing the LPN TO RN. And congrats to you !! That's a big achievement for you, you have to go celebrate lol. It's just tough getting the entire $1950 in such short notice. I'm going to see if they will be able to give more time. They are giving me 5 days to pay.
