Specializes in Oncology.

I am a nursing student in Chicago and I am currently doing a clinical there. I have heard a couple of nurses mention something about being a collegiate where you would get paid more than a CNA and allowed to perform more tasks with the nurse. If anyone has heard of or done this program can you please provide information about what its like & how you would get in touch with the nurse recruiter. Thanks so much in advance.

They are called nurse extern positions......

http://www.nmh.org/nm/student-nurse-externship but they usually run over the summer and then they hire some into positions. You just need to call the individual facilities themselves.
