MERCY ABSN Spring 2021

Published

Hi,

I plan on applying for the Spring 2021 ABSN program at Mercy College in the BRONX, NY. I'm sure there are many students looking for advice and support from other potential students as well. Feel free to leave any helpful tips, comments and the struggles that you may come across while applying.

I missed -------------------------’s answer in regards to the NCLEX. Can someone lmk what she said?

She said there's a 83% pass rate for NCLEX.

can someone who is in the zoom ask about people that haven’t heard back yet .Should we still be waiting or start looking at other schools.

We just finished our meeting but definitely send another email to Paul Reid so he can clarify

Does anyone have a plan for health insurance?

Anyone else paying completely out of pocket? I know I will receive slim to none of financial aid so I want to pay in full but I am not sure if we have to pay each semester as we go or if we can pay the entire program in full with one loan. I asked at the meeting so I guess I have to email them to get clarification but I am just curious on everyone else’s thoughts

I wanted to apply to mercy college but I thought the nursing program would have been in Manhattan ? but did not realize until recently that its in the bronx.

I plan to pay out of pocket also via school loans. I would think you pay by semester.

I’m assuming it will be like that as well since tuition varies per semester

I would apply for health insurance with the state. Do you plan to work during the program?

Just wondering, does anyone know someone who got denied to the mercy ABSN program for Spring 2021???
