MERCY ABSN Spring 2021

Hi,

I plan on applying for the Spring 2021 ABSN program at Mercy College in the BRONX, NY. I'm sure there are many students looking for advice and support from other potential students as well. Feel free to leave any helpful tips, comments and the struggles that you may come across while applying.

Does any one know if acceptances are by names cuz I applied the first week of August and haven’t heard anything yet.

Thank you! I believe I got rejected because the program started late may or early June for Summer start and my undergrad degree wouldn't be completed until like June 5th 2020.

Same I applied the day the application opened. According to ---------------------- the applications have to go to processing before it gets sent to the actual nursing committee. I verified that my application was just sent to the committee about 4 days ago along with “200+ applications” (--------------------- stated).  I’m guessing my application took longer to process. IDK why but there’s still hope. We have until November 30 to hear back. 

Did you guys apply to any other schools?

I’m waiting till I hear from this school then I’ll apply to 3 schools for fall 2021.

Hey! I applied on August 14 and got a call today from ----------------------- that I got accepted!

Good morning everyone!

I just received a called from Paul congratulating me on my acceptance to the program! For all the people who are wondering, I submitted my application Septemeber 25th. My undergrad GPA was a 3.66 graduated Magna Cum Laude and my prereqs were all As besides Chem and Micro I got a B+ in both classes. Good luck everyone!

I just called about this . ------------------------ said he takes the best grade of the two attempts

Hey guys,

Anyone knows how far the classes can go back.For example if I took A n P 1 back in 2013 would that still count.Or do they need a current ?

They don’t have a limit . I took chem in 2009 and they said it was fine .

I just got a call from -------------------------- saying I got accepted!! I know some of you will ask LOL but my grades were okay in undergrad! Pre-reqs were a mixture of A-B’s. Chem I got a C+. I was denied by 3 other schools prior to mercy so DO NOT GIVE UP! Congrats to everyone else! ???
